Practical electrical help
Plan your ceiling fans
Think about how the space is used now and whether that is changing. A useful conversation covers equipment, locations, controls and access. OTOLEC can then discuss the practical electrical requirements and the next step for your property.
Hills properties can have different access and layout requirements. Mention detached buildings, planned renovations and the parts of the property that need attention so the visit can be planned around the actual work.

Your questions answered
Can you install a fan where there is currently a light?
It may be possible, but the mounting support, wiring and controls need to be checked. Tell us about the existing fitting and the fan you are considering before purchasing.
What should I discuss before arranging the work?
Explain the existing arrangement, what is not working or what you want to change, and any access restrictions. Photos can be emailed to admin@otolec.com.au. The scope needs to reflect your property, not just the name of the service.
Will the existing wiring need to be checked?
The relevant supply, wiring and fittings may need assessment before an installation or repair can be confirmed. OTOLEC can discuss what needs checking during the visit and any changes that affect the agreed work.
